How do I return a product to Petco?
For US customers, you can either return to a store or ship it back. Each of these two ways is explained in detail further in the article.
Returns to stores: Your purchase from petco.com can easily be returned to a nearby Petco store or Unleashed store. You can find the nearest Petco store by clicking here. The following are the things that you will require to make a return to a store:
- Make sure that you have the Store Return Receipt either printed or on your phone when you visit the store for returning a product. This receipt can be found in the ‘Order History’ of your account.
- You will also require the Order Confirmation Email to initiate a return. Either get this printed or have it ready on your phone when you visit the store.
You can return products purchased from petco.com to a Petco store or Unleashed location, within 60 days of the initial date of shipment. You can also return products purchased from a store or Unleashed location, within 60 days with a receipt.
Shipping your product back: Apart from returning your purchase directly to a store, you can also choose to ship your product back to Petco. - If you are returning a product whose order you had placed using your PayPal account, you will be eligible for a refund in the form of a gift card, or an exchange.
- You will be issued a corporate cheque in case funds are not available or adequate at the store where you are returning your product.
